Nancy B. McNelis

Chair Emeritus

Nancy McNelis is currently Director of the Executive MBA program at the McColl School of Business at Queens University of Charlotte.  In this role, she is responsible for envisioning and achieving a transformational future for all aspects of the program, including student and faculty recruitment and retention and developing and providing a challenging and rewarding curriculum.   Prior to this Nancy was Vice President, Client Services Consulting for Right Management, a subsidiary of Manpower.  In this role she is responsible for helping her clients win in the changing world of work by designing and executing workforce solutions that align talent strategy with business strategy. 

Nancy was the Managing Director of the Carolina’s practice of Jefferson Wells International, another subsidiary of Manpower.  She was responsible for overseeing service, operations, growth and business development for this global provider of accounting and finance-related services.  In addition, she served as Director, Internal Audit and Controls, and Business Development Manager for Jefferson Wells. Prior to joining Jefferson Wells, Nancy worked for Transamerica Reinsurance and Ernst and Young in various accounting and audit roles.  She has an undergraduate degree in accounting from the Ohio State University, a MBA from the University of Kansas and is a CPA. 

Nancy is the Past President, Treasurer and Secretary of Women Executives, Co-Chair of Women Executives Community Service (WECS) “Give Her Wings” Scholarship Campaign, WECS Board Member, member of Leadership Charlotte, Class XXX, Treasurer and Board Member of Leadership Charlotte, Gateway Village YMCA Board Chair, past Co Chair of Charlotte Mecklenburg Women’s Summit and actively involved in various charitable organizations.  Nancy is a past winner of the Charlotte Business Journal Top 25 Women In Business Achievement Award.  Nancy’s passions include travel, golf, biking and entertaining.  Her husband Mike is an anesthesiologist at Presbyterian Hospital and she has a 19 year old stepdaughter and 16 year old stepson and 2 year old Goldendoodle.
